Abstract

This workshop aims to train the attendants for early detection of the most important visual impairments, specially amblyopia and strabismus, with the usual instruments of Primary Care. Theoretical basis and the situation in literature will be discussed, although it is a practical workshop in which we will use several optotypes, stereoscopic and chromatic tests, Hirsberg test and cover and discover test. This way we will try to define with all the attendants some rational criteria for specialist consultation.
