Treatment with gonadotrophin-releasing hormone analogues is not an authorized treatment for improving the height of girls with normal puberty. This treatment, used in disease mongering context, has risks and its effectiveness has not been proven. It is necessary to improve the control and conditions of use of off-label drugs.
