Abstract

This work presents some psychoeducational orientations for children's parents with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The orientations are based in empiric, theoretical and clinical approaches. The following dimensions are presented: Family environment, modelling, behaviour reinforcement, norms, autonomy and self-esteem, to learn how to think and to wait, attention, relationship with partners, family group, adolescence and a reflection on the treatment.
