The school in social risk situations and abuse

School is the place to socialize children, and it is there where their difficulties in tasks and items of each evolutive period are better shown. Teachers accomplish an important role in prevention, detection and intervention when any of our children or adolescents is suffering a risk situation or has his or hers rights being harmed in any of the contexts where he or she lives. Teachers, in the other hand, have a compromise with de well-being of children and adolescents that are being abused, are in a situation of no protection or their basic needs are not being satisfied. Teachers have to notify these situations in order to start the correct protection measures. Their efficiency will be completed with the intervention of the other levels affected.
