Abstract

It seems that sexuality begins in adolescence, judging by the lack of sex education, which precedes this stage of life. However, if we want to educate on sexuality from 14 years on, we have come too late.

Sex education for children is the unfinished business of parents, school and health professionals. Pediatricians are in that place of privilege to work on the prevention and promotion of sexual health addressing these questions openly, from the subtlety and the scientific knowledge.

The objective is working to assist without demands. Young people want that health professionals, together with parents, educate them on sexual and reproductive health.
