Abstract

Bloody discharge from the nipple in women can be an alarm sign related to tumors, papillomatosis or wounds, but during the last trimester of pregnancy or in the first days of the puerperium it can be considered normal. This symptomatology is known as brown colostrum or rusty-pipe syndrome. We present the case of a 34-year-old who presented bilateral telorrhagia three days after a childbirth at 39 weeks.
