Abstract

The Early Intervention to the child at risk with an impaired psychomotor development requires an early detection of the alarm semiology. This first level of detection is done in Neonatology and Primary Care contexts. The evaluation of the child's madurative process in the Pediatrics setting allows the immediate intervention of the functional alterations observed in the clinical check-up. The Early Intervention Unit, in the Neonatology Department of The University Hospital Santa Cristina of Madrid, carried on two different studies and both suggest the benefits of starting the Early Intervention in the Neonatal period.
