Abstract
The number of migrants under 16 years of age residing in the Community of Madrid is around 140000 according to the “Foreign Population Report of the Community of Madrid” carried out in January 2021. Many of them arrive accompanied by their family, they are reunited with this and a minority they arrive alone. They present a greater risk of infectious diseases with which they have not had contact in the receiving country, of suffering from others due to the living conditions in the host country or of importing infectious diseases from their country of origin. Therefore, it is important making early diagnosis and treatment important for both the patient and the community. Its management in primary care must be systematic and protocolized in collaboration with other levels of care and social devices. Close attention that promotes their confidence and adherence to follow-up improves their health results and their multicultural integration in the receiving country. Two cases of imported tropical pathology are presented in 2 children who consult for the first time at the health center after their arrival in Spain.
