Abstract
The presence of foreign bodies in soft tissues is a frequent diagnosis in Pediatrics. Almost always, they penetrate in the body accidentally and the consultation takes place after perceiving the traumatism that caused its entrance or when complications appear. Given the diagnostic suspicion, it is important to carry out complementary tests that allow us to characterize the lesion, as well as to delimit the extension of the same one being the soft-tissue ultrasound the procedure of election for it.
