Abstract

English is the scientific language par excellence; a great majority of the published biomedical research comes out in this language. Scientific community in Spanish speaking countries is relatively small, so that the prospect for journals in Spanish isn?t promising. They need choosing their niche very carefully to maintain themselves. They need a bigger investment and support from the Spanish speaking scientists to grow.
