Abstract

Palpebral ptosis is a very common congenital eye pathology. It can be produced by many reasons; it is easy to understand if you know the eyelid anatomy and physiology. In this article we bring the case of a girl who presents with a rare medical condition, a congenital palpebral ptosis called Synkinesis or Marcus Gunn Phenomenon.
