Abstract
Authors’ conclusions: there is considerable uncertainty regarding gender-affirming hormone therapy, and further studies with rigorous methodology are needed.
Reviewers’ commentary: gender-affirming therapy cannot be accepted or rejected with the findings of this systematic review, as the quality of the evidence of the included studies is low or very low.
