Abstract

The occurrence of an inguinoscrotal hematoma in the absence of prior trauma or surgical intervention poses a diagnostic challenge, as it may constitute the initial manifestation of an underlying pathological condition in this region.

We report the case of a boy aged 9 years with a previously unrecognized inguinal lymphatic malformation that was identified in the context of a hematoma in this location. The history-taking and urgent testicular ultrasound examination were essential for accurate diagnosis and management, underscoring the need for close follow-up and a multidisciplinary approach.
