Abstract
Keriorrhoea is the elimination of an orange oily fluid with bowel movements that can appear after eating some species of fish, like butterfish. Symptoms can develop between 1 hour and 3 days after fish intake and consists of the leakage of this orange oily fluid (like canned mussels oil) from the stool without changes in bowel movement frequency and does not require specific treatment.
