Abstract

Acute viral myositis is a very typical clinical situation with legs pain and functional impairment, after or during a viral infection. The elevation of creatine phosphokinase and a transient and self-limited clinical course are the main characteristics. We discuss eight cases of acute myositis, during the influenza epidemic period 2015-2016.
