Abstract

Mesenteric linfagiomas, sometimes asymptomatic, may course as an incidental finding on imaging performed for another reason. Sometimes the tumor is discovered by its complications, by compressing neighboring structures, with nonspecific signs of bloating or data of acute abdomen and obstruction. We report a 6 year old with symptoms of acute abdomen, consistent with its beginning with acute appendicitis is not discarded after the completion of imaging tests. Laparotomy intestinal lymphatic malformation shows a anatomo-pathological confirmation of cystic mesenteric linfagioma.
