Abstract

Foot and ankle pain is a common cause of visits to the primary care pediatrician. Nevertheless, little attention has been given to these complaints during pediatric training nor in the classical textbooks of pediatrics. This article focuses on the necessary knowledge the primary care pediatrician needs when treating painful conditions of the foot and ankle in children.
